Who is this training package for?
School teachers who want to learn more about communication and collaboration skills for students and how to integrate communication and collaboration teaching and learning into everyday classroom practice.
What will it cover?
Learn about communication and collaboration skills that research shows are essential for preparing young people to live and work in today’s globalised economy:
- an introduction to communication and collaboration
- communication and collaboration in the classroom
- intercultural communication and collaboration
The aim of the course is to learn about and plan ways of integrating the teaching and learning of communication and collaboration skills into everyday school practice. This does not mean changing the curriculum. It means adding an extra dimension to what you teach and how you teach it.
What will I take away?
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- define communication and collaboration skills
- identify the communication challenges within your context
- analyse how technology can be used to develop communication skills in your classroom
- thought about different ways of integrating diverse forms of communication into your classroom activities
- identify issues related to language and intercultural communication and your own experience of intercultural communication and collaboration

This course is self-paced so you can take as little or as long as you like to complete it.
